My name is Indigo (my friends call me indi), I identify as non-binary and I use they\them pronouns. I was assigned male at birth (AMAB) but now I am gender neutral.  While I have masculine energy and appearance, I am intrigued and excited about exploring the feminine energy I did not know existed until I started my search for authenticity.

I am a childhood trauma survivor, I have had many visits to the edge of the extinction and in the process have leaned a lot about mental health which has led me to becoming an advocate.  I have learned a lot about resilience and want to help others.

in my free time I am an artist and woodworker.  I am an abstract painter and have found that painting allows me to express my inner thoughts and feelings in ways that I cannot find the words to describe.  My woodwork has leaned towards Christian symbols and quotes.  I use a scroll saw to get fine detailed cuts and is self care in a different way because it takes all of my concentration.

The name innately indi comes from a great friend and supporter that has been a listening ear and is a very kind and compassionate soul.  I am a member of 7cups which is a free community with forums and chat rooms that allow you to share without judgement.  I am a frequent flyer in the Exploration Garden and when I started using my gender neutral name, she gave me the name indi.  I was brainstorming names and realized that indi has always been an innate part of my identity, I just didn't know it.
